Now I don't know, it must be me, but is there a discrepancy in the level of difficulty between Generaal Raam and the rest of the game? I am playing it on the easiest level and apart from a few levels I've had no problems and quite a bit of fun playing GOW. Until now. I must have tried killing the end level boss Raam about seventy times now, and I don't feel I am any closer than the first go. I consistently get killed inside a minute of entering the level, and have no idea of what to do. I have a torque bow and the sniper rifle, they seem not not make a blind bit of difference. My pall Dom gets killed pretty much immediately. If I reach the turret gun that doesn't do me any good as I get blasted in 3 seconds. AAAAARGH.

Any tips on what to do?

the krill are a shield for general raam. What you have to do is use the torque bow or a grenade to get them away from him. once he is open, just keep shooting at his head - i just used the chainsaw gun and kept shooting as his head. make sure when you do the active reload you get the perfect reloads because it will do more damage. remember to stay behind a barrier as well.

You may have to run to the other side when he gets too close. I never used the turret because i would always die by the time I got to him. I just ran most of the way across and ducked behind cover, turned and started working on raam again.

Dom is pretty dumb on this level and will blow it for you alot of times too.

I had to do it about 20-30 times before i finally killed him. Congrats on getting that far so though because this game is pretty tough even on easy.

I'm still trying to play through on hard core myself.

I had pretty much the same experience as Reyak. What gets you killed, are those krills (mostly), remember to stay in cover and in light and always run between the 2 covers, just when Raam is moving to your side of the cover. Took me a while too. Game is really "challenging" on the higher difficult levels, or I am just too old
