New laptop time!

Well, since ASUS wasn't able to order a new mainboard for the warranty on my previous laptop, they've sent me a brand spankin' new one, and I have to it's pretty sweet Smile

AMD Turion TL60
ATI Radeon HD 2600 / 256MB VRAM with VGA, TV and HDMI out
3GB RAM
300GB HDD
On-board audio
Ghz LAN, Wireless a,b,g,n and Bluetooth
17" WXGA Screen
Built in camera + microphone
DVD Burner w/ Lightscribe

Oh, and it has a numpad Shocked

At any rate, I'm about to check out my new HDMI output Smile

The HDTV didn't like it, I guess. Couldn't get it to display an image, though Windows would recognize it. Not sure why though.

Thats weird, you should at least be able to get an extended desktop image to it. Got a friend at uni who has done this with his 3870 to his HD TV, uses it to watch all his TV on it, be it HD or not so it should be possible.
