Played a couple of rounds and it plays very similarly to the old tribes. The biggest difference is the need to play often or pay a little money to get all the weapons and upgrades. Not sure how I feel about that so far.

Even though I got killed more than I killed, I didn't get annihilated. This would be really good with a headset and some friends.
